Time

You must appreciate that time is always against you. It is never kind or encouraging. It gnaws away invisibly at all good things. Therefore, if you have any desire to accomplish anything, even the simplest task, do it swiftly and with great purpose, or time will drag it away from you.

  1. Widely stated, “Time passes more quickly as one gets older”.

To me this seems to be accurate. Now that I am 51 years of age, undesirable tasks such as cleaning the house, or a dreaded conversation, just fly right by. Even non-undesirable tasks such as eating, or a non-dreaded conversation, just seem to fly right by.

    According to the post:
“do it swiftly and with great purpose, or time will drag it away from you”

Can this phenomenon be purposely ascribed to conversing with an ex-wife? Can the concept of “time” actually drag away my experience of conversing with her? Would this dragging away be limited in scope to just one event, or can my ex be repeatedly dragged away?? Can I request the repeated drag away option? Is there a fee?
